Coffee - ONE ROAST SERIES # 6 Yemen Pearl of Tehama (Roasting and ship on 12/19)

Each month we will roast a new coffee, the kicker, we are only doing ONE ROAST of it. Once it's roasted and sold out, it's not coming back. It's going to be an exciting and adventurous coffee each time and will include a brew guide on how we recommend to brew it. 

If ever there is a coffee origin that you should splurge on, it's a Yemen. This is an unbeatable opportunity to explore an origin and quality standard that is hard to find. 

This coffee comes from the Sharqi Haraz Cooperative in Eastern Haraz of Yemen. It is a high elevation coffee compared to most, sitting at upwards of 2200masl (meters above sea level). Higher elevation creates a unique challenge that is worth it if done right. More pressure on the trees create an intensity of flavor you cant find anywhere else, but a challenge to keep the trees happy and healthy. Yemen coffee tend to be floral, sweet, and rich, and this coffee is no stranger to those flavors. Processed as an anaerobic natural, all those flavors are amplified and highlighted; bringing in more creativity and uniqueness, which is why this coffee is a ONE ROAST SERIES.

On the flavor profile, we taste a lot of different flavors. We've highlighted the wildflower honey sweetness, the grape acidity, particularly the white grape, it has a caramel/brown sugar love to it like a Biscoff cookie, and a melody of melons, we've noticed honeydew a few times. The body of the coffee is silky smooth, a perfect touch to intense flavors.

We cannot state this enough, this coffee, especially at this price point, will not be found anywhere else. Get it while it's here! As special as the late year holidays are, this coffee is too. It will ship the week before Christmas, so you can gift it or brew it on the special day!
